The FabFitFun Starter Box
Every season, FabFitFun members get a number of starter boxes to send out.
These starter boxes have $75 worth of products in them and are totally free outside of shipping and handling! Shoot me a DM on Instragram or email me at email@example.com if you would like to try a starter box!
Love the Starter box and want to continue receiving the seasonal boxes? Awesome! No need to do anything. Enjoyed tried the new products but just not feeling it? No worries, just cancel within 21 days of signing up for the Starter box. Tip: Put a calendar reminder in your phone a few days before hand for free trials where you need to cancel before a certain date.
What is FabFitFun, anyway?
FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box that costs $49.99. For that price, you get a box filled with over $225 worth of products! These products range from accessories to makeup items! Spoiler alert: My Spring 2020 box is worth $248…plus a mystery choice item bringing my full retail total to $291. Boo ya!
What distinguishes FabFitFun from other subscription boxes is the fact that you get full-sized items. Over the years, I have cluttered my bathroom with SO MANY tiny sample products, which is annoying.
The seasonal subscription is $49.99 and renews every 3 months, unless you cancel. If you want the most bang for your back, go with the annual subscription, which is $179.99. This saves you $20 versus the quarterly payment option.
A perk of the annual option is you actually get to customize more items than quarterly members, your box gets shipped sooner, and you receive earlier access to add-on products!
If you are interested, you can sign up here for $10 off your first box!
Below is a snippet of my 2020 Spring Box review.

I chose the following items during the customization period:
Summer & Rose Navy Diamond Tote – $50 retail value
I picked this as one of my customization options for a few reasons. One, my tote that I use on a daily basis unfortunately has been used so much these past few years that the handles are starting to fray. I put my work laptop in it, which is a tank, so I need something a bit heftier and this tote is going to do the job! It also will serve as a perfect beach bag!
tarte Rainforest of the Sea drink of H2O hydrating boost – $39 retail value
My favorite moisturizer that I have been using for the past few years is Comfort Zone, which I posted about here. It is definitely my tried and true but every now and then, I need to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new. Haha – get it? Okay, I thought it was funny…
Gravity Weighted Sleep Mask – $39.99 retail value
I am a chronic insomniac with Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder. To even have a SHOT at sleeping, the room has to be pitch black and a white noise machine has to be playing…and that’s with sleeping pills.
When I travel, I obviously can’t tote some blackout curtains with me. This makes for an angry Tiffany when there is light in the morning. My husband says the “light monster” comes out, which…is true.
This sleep mask piqued my interest as it is weighted so it will put pressure on my face and hopefully allow me to feel like I’m in a blacked out room.
Aria Beauty Luxe Detangling Electroplated Brush – $35 retail value
Gross but I have had my hairbrush for about 4 or 5 years now. I just don’t really ever think about swapping it out, I mean…it still functions, right? Well, when I saw this pretty, shiny new hairbrush as a customization choice, I decided it is time.
This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoon – $40 retail value
As stated above, I am an insomniac. As any fellow insomniacs knows, we try anything that has even a sliver of a chance at helping us sleep better. Not sure if this will work but hey, why not give it a go?
Chic & Tonic Set Of 4 Silicone Straws + Brush Cleaner & Case – $15 retail value
Am I the only one who gets super pissed when you leave the drive-through line and you realize they didn’t give you a straw? Well, maybe. Nevertheless, that is the exact use I envision for these bad boys. Watch…for the remainder of my days, I will get a straw with every fast food meal. And in that case, I will say these brought me good luck.
These items were ones I did not choose but were a part of my box:
Purlisse Watermelon Energizing 2 Minute Peel & Polish – $35 retail value
This was not something I personally would have picked…just because I have so many peels from my old Birchbox subscription. Realistically, this may go in a drawer or on Poshmark or eBay.
Better Skin Epik C Serum: Power Trio Complex – $38 retail value
This serum was my “mystery choice” since I wasn’t fond of the other options in one of the customizations. I already have a Skin Owl serum so this will probably also go on Poshmark or eBay.
Is it worth it? (Let me work it…I put my thing down, flip it and reverse it.)
Sorry. Couldn’t resist…
All in all, my take is that the Spring FabFitFun box is definitely worth the $45 I spent (annual cost/4) for everything that I got in it, as I will be using 6 of the 8 items…and will probably just resell the other two.
I haven’t had a box yet where the majority of the items were useless to me. So there’s that.
